Helambu is well known among the trekkers for its view and great atmosphere. Situated around 72 kilometers upper east of Kathmandu, it stretches out from north of Taramarang to the tree furthest reaches of the Gosainkunda Lake and lower inclines of Jugal Himal. There we meet villages of Tamang and Sherpa towns, scattered on the two sides of the Malemchi Khola. This trek is nearly less demanding one because of the way that the heights are lower, running in the vicinity of 800m and 3600m, offering less moving and also hotter temperatures. The most imperative advantage of this trek is that the region is less swarmed and free from clamor in contrast with the Annapurna trek and a few sections of the Everest treks. Other than this, the trek offers an extensive variety of societies and staggering landscape.

Other than the Hyolmo culture of high mountain individuals, the organization of green rhododendron and bamboo woods, superb waterfalls, and the snow-topped Himalayas make the trek one of most various treks close Kathmandu. The considerable Himalayan view at the outskirt with Tibet and religious communities make a trek to the area an exciting knowledge. The general population living the good countries of the Langtang area are surely the Nepalis, being the relative of the Tibetan birthplace, despite everything they look like Tibetans.

The Helambu Trek starts from Sundarijal, an hour's drive from Kathmandu. After around an hour's walk, we enter Shivapuri National Park. Proceeding with the Chisopani, Kutumsang, Thadepati, and Sermathang, the trek closes at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu locale.
